Since I was hungry, I went to eat and came back. I went at 8pm and one of the workers came by and said it would be an hour before getting the order. And 3-one of the Walmarts I went to was extremely backed up. They can easily change the tip to less money. It should be firm once they place the order. 2- The customers have 24 hours to change the tip. So I just started to door dash during those 20-30 minutes to at least get some money. I sometimes have 20-30 minutes before I can pick up an order and will have to wait in my car the entire time.
The three negative things I can say is 1- the time to pick up an order should be changed. īeen driving for a month now and I can say it has been a good experience over all. Once they work out all the glitches with the app it will be great and you can make good money doing it. Even had one tell me to deliver it when I had not even scanned the order because it was sitting in the store still but the app was telling the loaders it had been delivered. I have had problems with the orders being removed from my phone and have had to wait over an hour for it to clear so I can accept another offer.

I live like 20 minutes from Walmart so it takes me time to get there while most offers are expected to be picked up within a 15 minute time frame and if traffic is bad my metrics take a hit because I’m late arriving and most of the time I’m sitting there waiting even if I’m ten minutes late arriving, and I have had the loaders tell me that I checked in before I arrived and I showed them that I had not that the app was telling them I was there when I wasn’t that’s the problem I guess with the gps location always being on in a rural area like this a lot of places have no cell service and the maps will send you to the wrong location or you aren’t able to reach the customer if you have trouble locating their address because a lot of people do not have their address on their mailbox some don’t have a mailbox and it reflects badly on the driver because they either have to return the items to the store or spend a lot of time looking for the address. I live in Williamsburg Kentucky and for the most part the app is pretty good. It’s frustrating to sit and not receive orders all day. On the subject of ASAP orders, once accepted, you get maybe 4 minutes to arrive at the store for pickup. Which in turn, damages your metrics if you don’t accept. So on time arrivals are a moot point if I accept an offer at another store.
From where I live, I have one Walmart within 5-7 minutes of me, and it’s anywhere from 25-35 minutes give or take to make it to another store in my zone. I have 5 stores in my zone and I’m giving roughly 15 minutes after accepting an offer to arrive at the store for pickup.
To sit all day with the app open, damages your metrics. Lately looking at my zone, the orange circles don’t change, they are always the same shade of orange. So they switched to the orange circles that would change in color from dark orange to a peach color, dk orange being busy and peach slow. I used that graph to plan my week, as I have a family and needed to be available for them at certain times.

Since an update a bit ago, that is now gone. When I first started, there was a bar graph when looking at your zone that gave you potentially busy times. I enjoy driving for spark but the app has little desirability.
